1998 MEMORIAL DAY EVENT
The newly formed Major General James H. Wilson Camp No.1 of Montgomery,
Alabama, Department of Tennessee; Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil
War extends an invitation for participation in Memorial Ceremonies
honoring America's veterans.
The Camp will hold two ceremonies; the first at Old Oakwood Cemetery,
Montgomery, Alabama on Saturday, May 30th at two o'clock p.m. CDT. The
ceremony will also include the reenactment of the 1908 dedication of the
G.A.R. memorial. The second will be a Flag Day ceremony and decoration
of veteran's graves at Oak Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday,
June 14th at two o'clock p.m. CDT.
