Crotty, Patrick - Looking for roster of 23rd Regiment Mass. Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, Company I; they were from the Boston area. In particular looking for my gggfather, Patrick Crotty. He enlisted October 10, 1861; was wounded at Whitehall, NC, on December 16, 1862; was discharged May 7, 1863 at Salem, MA. I believe his wife was Catherine (Katherine) Ruth but have not been able to confirm. Looking for any information. Thanks, MAMDERRY@aol.com

Melvin, Albert - I am searching for my g-grandfather's discharge papers that were stolen from a home in New Hampshire and possibly taken to the west coast. It would mean a lot to me to get them back. His name was Albert Melvin--served as a private in Co. A; 2nd Mass. Heavy Art. He mustered in-June 29,1863. Discharged May 26, 1865. Would appreciate any help on this matter.
