Hughes, Benjamin D. - Dear Ron, I enjoyed our conversation this afternoon with respect to your having information about the US Army 14th Infantry Regiment history during the Civil War. I would appreciate you sending me any information including muster and rolls, if you have them. In particular I'm looking for my great-grandfather's name-Benjamin D. Hughes.

Ancestors
Buck, Dennis M., Sergeant - I have been tryng to obtain some information on my g-g-grandfather, Sgt Dennis M. Buck. The only information I have at present is that he enlisted in the Union Army August 19th, 1861 as a private in Company C, 5th NJ Infantry. Other information has him enlisting in Troop D, 2d US Cavalry, October 25th, 1862, in alexandria, VA. This information may be accurate or it may not, that I cannot attest to. I do have a listing of battles that he was suppose to have engaged in. Thank you, Karl E. Gansberg, kegan@dc.jones.com
